Microsoft uses Python; not .NET !!!

November 26, 2007

Microsoft researchers are using Python to develop their Asirra web service. Asirra is a “technology” developed to distinguish between humans and automated bots. (like CAPTCHA)

From the Asirra security page:

“…The web service is a total of about 500 lines of Python code…. “

I wonder whether the researchers have heard of a programming platform called .NET
