Microsoft researchers are using Python to develop their Asirra web service. Asirra is a “technology” developed to distinguish between humans and automated bots. (like CAPTCHA)

From the Asirra security page:

“…The web service is a total of about 500 lines of Python code…. “

I wonder whether the researchers have heard of a programming platform called .NET

This is the best way to make sure that your visitors read your post completely from the start to end:

Make it short and simple.

Please dont try to “make up” a post everyday…

The quality of many popular blogs have diminished due to an attempt to post frequently. Don’t do it.

I haven’t posted for some time now in my other blog. I think it is very good that I don’t waste my readers’ time by some low quality post.

As I browse through Orkut (or any other social Net), I see that most of the people are having “about me” as: cool

There are many variants for this. Some add more ‘o’s. Some add more  ‘.’s after the word.

Eg : cooool

coooooool……………

coool…………………………………………

etc

Wikipedia looks old ?

November 23, 2007

Sometimes when using wikipedia, it feels like they need to give it a better look. It looks so old.

I am not telling that they should give it a web 2.0 look. Just some tweaks here and there to make it a little more aesthetic.

What do you think?

The homepage of Gmail shows that the capacity of Gmail account is over 5GB now. Now that is very good news indeed. But how did Google increase the space from 2GB to 5GB suddently?

Computer World reports that some Gmails users are complainig about deletion of the data in their Gmail accounts. They logged into their accounts one fine day and saw that all their data were gone. And they swear that this is not the case of a password/idenity theft. Most of them are experienced internet users.

Now, we know where Google got their extra space from.
